The development of the motorbike helmet internal padding has two important aspects. Firstly, IDI has to choose the most appropriate fabrics to manufacture the internal padding. Secondly, the IDI has to decide which production process to adopt, basing its choice on the fabric of the internal padding since different fabrics used have to be assembled using the right production process.

There are different processing techniques adopted to realize the motorbike helmet internal padding. Often, the handmade stitching is preferable because it is a technique that does not require molds. Moreover it allows for a more efficient prototype realization, allowing modifications to be made without increasing costs.

However, it is always possible to use high frequencies to create a technically superior product. To use the high frequency technique, a mold is necessary.
